Superbowl 56 Halftime Superstar Lineup!
A Mind-Blowing Performance
Happy Wednesday, Golden Divas & Divos!
Get Ready! Get Ready! Get Ready!
This post spun after a conversation with my sister this past Sunday. When she asked me did I watch the halftime trailer for the Superbowl, my response was, “trailer??” She said, check it out and get back to me.
Golden Divas and Divos, I must admit I am not a football fan, and on occasions, I will watch the Superbowl with Rick, mainly because of the commercials. The halftime show can be a hit or miss sometimes, but after seeing the 2022 halftime trailer it got me hyped.
The entertainment is going to be spectacular! I’m looking forward to watching the Superbowl this year, even if it is only for the halftime show and the commercials and maybe I will pay attention to the game.
The Superbowl is on February 13, 2022, and although we don’t know which two teams will be sparring off, we know who will be performing in the lineup for the Superbowl halftime show.
You see, the N.F.L. league partnered with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation entertainment company three years ago, and Roc Nation will be providing the entertainment this year along with Pepsi.
Fans around the world will be pleasantly amused. Since this collaboration, the Superbowl has become a significant event where huge music legends perform.
Superbowl 56, the N.F.L. masterpiece, is at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Los Angeles. This will be the eighth Super Bowl in the Los Angeles area, and fans are already excited for this major event.
For the first time in the history of the halftime slot, Divas and Divos, five music stars, will perform together on one of the biggest stages in the world. The five performers have 43 Grammys and 21 Billboard No. 1 albums.
Yes! You read that right!
The fact that this Superbowl 2022 halftime show will be infused with some hip-hop culture with some great stars like Kendrick Lamar, Dr. Dre, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Snoop Dogg is enough to keep my attention.
Shout out to my girl Mary J. Blige; she is the only one of these artists who has performed at the Super Bowl before; she performed in 2001’s halftime show. The five performers follow The Weeknd’s 2021 halftime show in Tampa, Fla. It was a disappointing halftime show. So, I’m not going to stay on it long.
“This year, we are blowing the roof off the concept of collaboration,” Adam Harter, Pepsi’s senior vice president of media, sports, and entertainment, said in a statement.
“Along with the N.F.L. and Roc Nation, we continue to try and push the limits on what fans can expect during the most exciting 12 minutes in music; this year’s superstar lineup is sure to deliver a mind-blowing performance.”
