I hope you are doing well and you’re having a spectacular summer! The atmosphere in the 2024 presidential election has shifted on Sunday, July 21, 2024. A new candidate is on the ballot for presidency, and her name is Vice President Kamala Harris. If you can’t pronounce her name, let me make it simple: ‘ Madame President!’
I am very excited and elated about Vice President Kamala Harris, and I hope you are too! We women have to act fast due to the shortage of time. So, ladies and gentlemen, let’s activate and get the word out.
As you can imagine, this election is going to get heated very quickly, so Club Fifty would like to share with you some pivotal points on the ‘Democratic Favorite Lady!’
It’s time to make a change (again) with our History Maker! I remember how excited I was on inauguration day in 2021 when Kamala Harris, a trailblazer, became the first woman, Black American and South Asian American to be elected Vice President. Now, that wave of excitement is resurfacing as she steps up as a favorite for the Democratic nomination in the 2024 election. Harris is hitting the ground running for the presidency, turning this election into an excellent match-up for women voters who do not favor the Trump-Vance America. With a record-breaking surge in her campaign, she is quickly gaining momentum in this presidential race with supporters. Here are some of VP Harris’s critical issues that she will take on: abortion, economy, healthcare, climate, immigration, Ukraine, and Israel-Gaza.
In this whirlwind campaign, our favorite is always on point! There’s nothing like having style, and VP Harris knows how to rock hers with the infusion of ‘Chucks & Pearls, with style, grace, and comfortability! Now that’s a great match-up! Stemming back from her college days at Howard University, when she pledged AKA, pearls were a prominent icon for this sorority. The twenty pearls represent “refinement and wisdom.” The reason for the iconic Converse sneakers is simple: she likes them as so many women do. Don’t get this Golden Diva wrong; she can don any footwear she chooses; however, ‘The Chucks’ has been a staple part of her look in the previous campaign in 2020, and now it’s coming back in her presidential campaign in 2024.
Women for Harris! When women show up, we win, and the wave of support is phenomenal to make this happen on November 5, 2024. Your vote is your voice, and we all must use it. If you want liberty and justice for all, please go and vote. Go with a friend, take an older adult or someone who doesn’t have transportation to the polls. Harris is fighting for America’s future! I stand with Harris. Will you? Remember to wear your ‘Chucks & Pearls’ throughout this election!
